A Beautiful Ceremony - About me..
HSE Registered Solemniser of Marriages (Legal Wedding Celebrant Ireland), and Family Celebrant.
Born in Tasmania, Australia and now living in Ireland with her husband (that's him on the left - nearly 20 years married!), daughter, son, one rescue dog and a goldfish which is much too big for his tank and waaay too old to be normal.
Romy has extensive experience in event and wedding organisation, both in Australia and in Ireland. Starting in hospitality back in 1996, she worked in 5-star hotels and resorts planning, , co-ordinating, and managing large-scale special events.
She has combined all her work & life experiences into creating "A Beautiful Ceremony Ltd". Her passion and desire for her business is to be of assistance to people - and to give them a more sensitive and personal ceremony.
Giving couples the chance to create their own individual ceremony, she is honored to be leading the way for the new generation of Celebrants within Ireland. Romy very much appreciates having the opportunity to facilitate such an important moment in peoples’ lives. With over a decade of Celebrancy experience, numerous Awards, Romy has officiated ceremonies within Ireland, Northern Ireland and Internationally.
"I just want couples to have a really loving and beautiful day. I always say to couples that it's an honor to be there with them - it really is! I feel very privileged to be asked to be a part of their day. I can talk until the cows come home and I'm also a bit of a perfectionist... so I really look after my couples!
I've been there and done that... I know what its like to be standing at the end of the aisle, waiting to walk in and see my beloved - the nerves, the excitement - it's brilliant!
I've worked behind-the-scene with weddings for a long time.
We'll laugh, maybe cry, and we'll have an AWESOME ceremony!"
Romy has joined with like-minded, exceptional women, who also share her passion for celebrations. Not only that, but a mutual love and concern for the Earth and the Environment:

We are there to guide and support you with expertise, know-how and skill

Within your ceremony, we can include reference to any religion or belief, if you wish, by incorporating readings, prayers, verse, symbolism and rituals.
We perform many different styles of ceremony including;
Spiritual, Religious, Humanistic,
Non-Religious or Secular ceremonies.
We are confident that you will be more than happy with the final outcome, and feel that our passion, sincerity and many years of experience will show through into your ceremony.
As your Registered Solemniser of Marriages & Celebrant, our goal is to meet your wishes in creating and officiating your Wedding, Elopement, Vow Renewal, Naming or Memorial / Funeral Ceremony. It will not only be meaningful to you both, but also to everyone attending.
Solemnisers & Celebrants who work with "A Beautiful Ceremony" are professional, passionate, full-time and hard working. They take the responsibility and trust bestowed upon themselves, towards their clients, the public at large, colleagues and peers very seriously. Keeping the standard of outstanding customer service at a premium. Each Solemniser/Celebrant only has one ceremony per day, and therefore giving you 100% of our time & experience, focusing on your individual day, with no pressure or restrictions.

All of our ceremonies are created and written with absolute love. There is nothing that compares to the amazing feeling that we have being asked to be a part of such an important time in peoples’ lives. In our ceremonies, there is emotion – we do get emotional.

First established in 2009, in Dublin, our main aim was to create a very professional group of expert, dedicated, reliable and honest celebrants.
